Commissioning & Supervision

Commissioning and supervision services are as important as the quality and correct selection of the purchased systems. Even if the purchased systems are of high quality, if they are not installed correctly and commissioned in accordance with international standards, their system reliability is jeopardised. Room Tightness Tests

The environments where Gas Extinguishing will be carried out must be sealed against the possibility of gas escaping to the outside environment. In gas extinguishing systems, after the extinguishing gas is discharged into the space, the gas is required by international standards to remain in the space for at least 10 minutes as a precaution against re-ignition. The purpose of the leakage test is to determine the leaks in the room on the basis of area (m2) and to calculate how long the gas can remain in the room. The test is performed with the help of a fan. First, the space is pressurised, then the air in the space is sent out of the environment by suction. The air pressure inside the room and through the fan is measured with the help of manometers. These values are evaluated by an approved computer programme. As a result of the differential difference, the leakage of the room is found. All these control services are called room tightness test or control (door-fan test) and this test must be carried out before the systems are commissioned in all gas extinguishing systems.
