CPS 1230 fire suppression systems fight fires in the enclosures to be protected using Novec™ 1230 fire extinguishing agent with 3M™. Novec1230 is not corrosive or electrically conductive, leaves no residue and is environmentally friendly. The CPS 1230 fire extinguishing system consists of the relevant supply and extinguishing nozzle lines, the extinguishing cylinder and the fire detection and extinguishing control system. One system protects up to two cabinets with electronic and electrical components.

CPS 1230 fire extinguishing systems not only protect the panel itself in the event of a fire, but also prevent the fire from spreading to other devices in the vicinity. These systems are the ideal fire protection solution in many situations. For example:

Fire Detection and Control Technology

Each protected panel is monitored by smoke detectors. In the early stages of a fire, the smoke detectors transmit a signal to the fire detection and extinguishing control panel. The control panel then initiates the switching off of the power supply to the enclosure and controls the electrical triggering device of the extinguishing agent cylinder to allow the extinguishing agent to flow into the cabinet.

It also triggers an alarm and optionally transmits a signal continuously to a point where people are present.
