Electronic Foam Proportioner

Product Types
The EFP is a highly accurate, electronically controlled, wide-range foam proportioning system. The primary function of the EFP is the accurate measurement of both foam concentrates and water supply using electromagnetic flow meters (EMF).
The central processing unit (CPU), the heart of the EFP, measures the correct amount of foam concentrate required for proportioning and continuously monitors the amount of foam mixed in. Two electronic valves control the flow at all times and constantly maintain the appropriate foam pressure.
Product components are as given below:
- Foam pump connection
- Foam concentrate flow meter
- Foam concentrate flow control valve
- Touch screen control panel
- Manual test valve with internal limit switch in pressure line
- Manual test valve with internal limit switch in return line
- Return line to foam concentrate tank
- Foam concentrate pressure control valve
- Manometer
- Foam concentrate pressure sensor

The EFP is equipped with a test system that allows the operator to test the system without proportioning the foam concentrate to the water flow. In test mode, the foam concentrate measured and regulated by the EFP is transferred back to the foam reservoir by opening the test valves. In this way foam is not wasted during the test and environmental pollution that may occur due to the chemicals contained in the foam is prevented.
The product is FM approved.
It is suitable for use in fluorine-free (high viscosity) foams and is resistant to performance problems that may occur in other proportioner systems due to the viscosity density in fluorine-free foams.

EFP Compack
The product combination consists of three components: drive (electric/diesel), foam pump and foam proportioning system (EFP). All these components have international approvals. Their compact integration makes this a “plug and play system”.
EFP Compack features:
- This system is ready for operation immediately.
- The EFP Compact meets the highest quality requirements based on current certifications.
- Proportioning accuracy is maintained regardless of the temperature or viscosity of the foam concentrate.
- 0.1% mixing accuracy.
- System available to test the system without actually mixing the foam concentrate with water. This means no loss of foam concentrate, no environmental damage and significant cost reductions.
- Continuous self-testing.
