Dry Alarm Systems

Product Types
Dry pipe systems are sprinkler systems designed for use in areas where there is a risk of freezing. They have air in the pipes and operate by evacuating air when a fire is detected, allowing water to fill the pipes and be sprayed from the sprinkler heads.

Working Principle:
- Air Pressure: In dry pipe sprinkler systems, the pipes are kept full of pressurized air.
- Sprinkler Activation: In the event of a fire, the sprinklers activate and allow air to be evacuated from the pipes.
- Air Evacuation: The air evacuation opens the dry alarm valve.
- Alarm Activation: The opening of the main valve sends a signal that activates electrical and mechanical alarms.
- Electrical Alarm: The electrical alarm activates alarm devices such as sirens and strobes.
- Mechanical Alarm: The mechanical alarm activates audible alarm devices such as gongs or bells.
- Water Supply: With the evacuation of air, the valve also opens and water is supplied to the sprinklers for the firefighting operation.
