High Pressure Two-Stage Dmd Horizontal Split-Case Fire Pumps
Product Types
Double Stage Fire Pumps for High Pressure Applications are designed to produce pressure equivalent to that produced by two separate single stage pumps arranged in series connection logic, but in a smaller footprint configuration. These pumps exhibit a rugged construction that provides high reliability and incorporates mechanical features for long operating life.
The basic design features include closed impellers positioned in a back-to-back arrangement with an intermediate passage connecting the stages. The use of bronze or bronze brushed interstage components serves as a protective measure against wear and increases the durability of the pump.
